The St James beach is between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. It is known for its very recognizable colourful beach huts. The retaining walls of the tidal pool form a shallow and safe pool that can be seen from the beach. It is a popular spot for a quick dip before work. During peak season, the pool is quite crowded because of False Bay’s warmer water.
