Camps Bay Beach

Cape town's riviera

This Blue Flag beach has been the place to be seen for decades. The beach is safe but very popular and often quite crowded. The flat grassed area behind the beach is fringed with palm trees. The jet-set mansions can be seen opposite on the slopes of the mountain. Watching the sunset from here is quite spectacular. The tidal pool is safe for swimming. There are also a lot of trendy sundowner venues along the bay.  The “Camps Bay strip is home to many restaurants and cafes.
