The beach is backed onto vegetation-covered dunes dotted with homes looking out across the ocean. Close to the city of George on the Indian ocean is Wilderness beach. Visitors to this unspoiled length of shoreline are likely to find warm waters most days.
Wilderness beach which has blue flag status is not very developed and does not have a lot of facilities but, the tranquillity of Wilderness Beach is wonderful for whale and dolphin watching.
