Fernkloof three dams trail

The Drie Damme Trail in the Kleinriver Mountains is quite a steep climb but a short 2km walk through the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. You will get to an icy dam where swimming is allowed. The reserve boasts wonderful coastal views and magnificent fynbos flora. You can walk along the dam wall where there’s a platform/tower to jump off. There are footpaths to the two other dams, The trail is accessed from a parking area and trailhead on First Avenue (look for the sign “Three Dams”) Unfortunately dogs are not allowed.
