Storms River Mouth
The Storms River Mouth within the Tsitsikamma National Park is a well-known destination along the garden route. Lush coastal forests reach the rocky coastline. The three iconic suspension bridges can be reached by various walks or trails of varying difficulty. The best way to see the bridges is to tale the Storms River trail. Other activities in the area include boat cruises, river tubing, kayaking, scuba diving and snorkelling. The area is within a marine reserve abundant with fish and other marine life. One of the several beaches is an entirely pebbled beach at the Storms River suspension bridge. When you’ve crossed over the bridge, you reach this pebbled area. You will hear the thunderous sound of the waves rolling the pebbles up and down the shore
Take a short 30-minute hike on a wooden boardwalk to get to this beach. This short hike is known as the Storms River mouth trail.
