Heritage tunnel project
Mosaic art project in Mossel Bay
The Heritage Tunnel project at Pinnacle Point was initiated and created by the Pinnacle Point Arts and Culture Association of Mossel Bay. This is a massive project to cover the walls, roof and floor of a 55m tunnel with fine mosaic.
The 92 panels of mosaic artwork depict the history of Mossel Bay. The tunnel serves as a gateway to Eden Bay Beach where visitors can follow the path and explore the Pinnacle Point caves.
