This is a relatively new suburb which has been developed on land subdivided from The De Grendel Farm which has belonged to the Graaff family for generations. The farm is predominantly planted with vineyards but Sir David Graaff grazed herds of Friesland cattle and trained Arabian thoroughbreds on the land. The Estate is a fairly high-density up-market development within a secure well-planned environment, incorporating open spaces and shopping areas.
