Greenpoint Biodiversity Park

The Green Point Biodiversity Park is close to Mouille Point. The gardens are laid out to educate and inform about the various plant kingdoms in the Western Cape. The gardens feature extensive information signage and artistic displays as well as a wetland garden and a historical habitat garden. The beds are planted according to vegetation type, so you can see which plants typically grow in sandveld, renosterveld, mountain fynbos, coastal thicket etc. The Green Point Common is a park with numerous playing fields and a golf course. There are lush lawns and impressive play areas and it’s a great place to have family picnics. There is also a small tea room in the park.
