Buffels Bay Beach and tidal pool
Tidal pool in cape point nature reserve
Buffels Bay is in the Cape Point Nature Reserve. It is a relatively sheltered and deserted beach. there is a tidal pool that’s great for a dip after a hike. The beach is great for a picnic as there are individual braai spots. The area has many animals such as eland, bontebok, Cape mountain zebra, and lots of flora and birds. However, watch out for baboons.
Close by is Bordjiesdrif, here you’ll have access to circular braai facilities, which are better for larger groups. Here there are grassier areas whereas Buffels Bay braai areas are on the sand.
