Cave in Mossel Bay
Cape St. Blaize Cave is a 33 meter high grotto with a 22-metre opening carved out of the rock which overlooks the sea. This is the site of the Cape st Blaize lighthouse. There is a wooden viewing platform for visitors to the site to use in order to get a good view. Excavations of the area show stone age habitation. The people living there ate shellfish evidenced by middens many thousands of years old. The cave has also been home to a bat population  It is free to visit the cave at all times
