Cederberg Astronomical Observatory was established by five amateur astronomers from Cape Town  It was completed in 1989. The Observatory has attracted a country-wide following. It is a perfect stargazing adventure for the whole family, Its location out in the ‘wilderness’ adds to its sense of adventure and mystery.
