Surf beach in Kommetjie
Some of the most spectacular waves can be found at Crayfish Factory in Kommetjie. These are created by the north or north-easterly wind. The waves are sometimes rough and it’s quite rocky, so as a beginner, this will not be the best site. Waves can reach up to 15 feet. Winter is the best time for surfing at Crayfish.
This beach has waves for pro surfers and is not usually very crowded.
