Pitch your tent in a cave in Aurora
Danielshoogte is a private nature reserve at the top of the mountains about 800 metres above sea level in Aurora with beautiful views of St. Helena Bay. as well as the farmlands of Piketberg. to the east. The reserve is thriving with fauna and flora and there are many hiking and cycling trails. Pitch a tent in a natural cave. It is accessible by road and equipped with a braai area and an ablution block with solar-heated running water. While you are there look out for eagles, duikers, caracals, porcupines, and baboons. On a clear day, Table Mountain can be seen in the distance.
