Die Kloof padstaal along the famous Route 62, has survived terrible floods, close fires and roadworks that go on and on. You can’t miss it as you enter Montagu from the Ashton side. It is immediately to your left as you enter the town.
There is a lovely gift shop stocked with goodies and snacks. The Montagu Dried Fruit Factory Shop is next door. The garden area makes it unique. It is both child- and pet-friendly. The views of the nearby Cogmanskloof Pass and Bloupunt Mountain are spectacular.
