Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient colourful sport with roots in China, that was introduced to South Africa in 1992. Today you can paddle a dragon boat in Cape Town. Racing a dragon boat is fast-paced and gives you a very good workout.
Mujaji Dragon Boat Club offers dragon boat racing and team building in the V&A. Paddlers don’t have to be super fit, as it is more important to work together as a team, whilst doing your best. Every participant has to learn cooperation, teamwork, and timing as well as an unusual paddling technique.
