A safe, reserve in Hermanus with good paths
Fernkloof Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in the Kleinrivier Mountains above Hermanus, Western Cape Province, South Africa. It is 1800ha in area and its altitude ranges from sea level to 842m. The reserve harbours a great number of fynbos species.

There is a beautiful MTB trail to follow. You will ride mostly on a jeep track and a few single-track stretches. The terrain consists of rock, sand, some tarmac links and much Fynbos.
