Gardens of Rustenberg Estate
Beautiful gardens in Stellenbosch
The Gardens of Rustenberg estate include the public Schoongezicht Garden, and the private Rustenberg Garden. The historical werf area is surrounded by a number of traditional Cape Dutch buildings, dating back to the 1800s. Cattle roam the fields along the roads grazing as natural lawnmowers. There are also a number of beehives scattered around the Estate and up into the foothills of the mountain. We have an avid passion for conservation, from our “wildflower garden” area which hosts a multitude of fynbos and indigenous plant species to our lovely wild animals roaming free on the farm and all over the Simonsberg Mountain.
