Glentana beach

Blue flag beach

This beach has clean white sand, stunning views,  facilities including ablution blocks, outdoor showers, and a raised-view lifeguard station with a first aid hut and lots of parking. There is even a shipwreck that has been there since 1902!

The caves further west of the main beach area can be explored and rock pools are exposed at low tide. Dolphins often visit the area. You can also see remains of the wreck of the Baralong  The floating dock that can be seen had been under tow by the steamer Baralong. She drifted onto Glentana Beach after the tow parted in November 1902.

This is the best beach in the Great Brak River area by far with, its pristine white sand. Access is by a set of wooden stairs onto the beach.

During the period from 1 February to 30 November annually, dog owners are allowed to walk their dogs between the hours of 06:00 and 20:00
