Camps Bay to Kirstenbosch
On this route, we hike from Camps Bay over the back of Table Mountain into Kirstenbosch Gardens. This hike showcases the unique features of the western and eastern slopes of the range. The hike does not summit on Table Mountain. It takes 6 hours and is about 7 km long. The terrain is challenging with Steep sections, a single rocky track, Jeep track ( Pipe Track), stone steps, and ladders.

Constantia Nek to Kirstenbosch
The moderate 3-hour hike from Constantia Nek to Kirstenbosch starts at Constantia Nek and follows the tar road on the Wynberg side which leads onto a gravel road that winds through pine trees toward Kirstenbosch. It becomes a path leading on to log steps, follow these and you will see a sign pointing out the contour path. Follow the path into Skeleton Gorge and then down Smuts’ Track into Kirstenbosch.
