At Karoo Donkey Sanctuary, our mission is to relieve the suffering of overworked and abused cart-horse donkeys. We have rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 200 donkeys and are currently a refuge for 130 donkeys that we saved from the donkey skins trade
