Latsky radio museum
George Latsky owns the radio museum. Ever since he was a child he has had an obsession with all kinds of radios.
The collection started with George Latsky trawling second-hand shops and flea markets to find radios to add to his collection. People have also donated radios. He has also repairs and builds old radios from scratch. One of the most unusual radios he has in the collection is the Russian spy ship radio used to encrypt messages during the Cold War.
The museum has different rooms filled with all things related to broadcasting and there are some fascinating artefacts to be seen.
The collection includes early domestic wooden cabinet valve radios, Bakelite tabletop radios, communication receivers, and military radios with examples of period accessories.
