Maidens Cove, Camps Bay
Tidal pool in Camps Bay
Maidens Cove has two tidal pools hidden between enormous granite boulders in the shadow of Lions Head. It’s a popular spot for sundowners, to see stunning blazing sunsets as the sun dips below the Atlantic horizon. Maidens Cove was one of the few multiracial beaches before 1994.
There is a grassy recreational area between Clifton and Glen Beach. With wonderful sea views and designated public braai and picnic spots.
