The Malmesbury Museum is housed in the old Synagogue that was established in 1910 The museum was opened in 1991,  The museum is the curator of the history of the town and the old Jewish community. There are set pieces featuring farming implements, an old shop and farm kitchen, medical artefacts, and the fashion of the day.

Interactive workshops cosy markets, breakfasts, and special community gatherings are held on the premises. Malmesbury Museum is not just a museum—it is a lively venue for workshops and other small events.
