This structure and meander were built in honour of a breeding pair of Black Chested Snake Eagles who live in the area. ‘The geoglyph has one continuous line – a footpath leading back to the start of the geoglyph, In the drawing of the snake eagle the heart of the eagle is formed by two intertwining shapes that symbolise not only the food of the eagle, but also the flow of water in the nearby river, and the air currents that keep it aloft. The drawing covers a distance of 1536m is 170 metres wide by 57 metres high. It is part of the Karro Geoglyph Project and was built by volunteers.
