Ou Tronk / Knechtsvlakte Kwekery/Nursery

The old jail (Ou Tronk en Kwekery ) is now a museum, gift shop, and succulent nursery all rolled into one. The last prisoners left in the 1930s, after which the building fell into a state of disrepair. It has now been carefully restored. Each cell has a different theme, each telling some of the many stories that Vanrhynsdorp has to share. Rumors of ghosts abound for those who are brave enough to try to meet up with them.
