Riebeek Valley Olive Festival
The olive festival is held in Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West. It is the largest of its kind in South Africa and is a celebration of olives, food, wine, and art. The festival is usually held annually in May. Although the festival revolves around the olive, it includes a variety of South African delicacies including wine, cheese, pickles, jams, and bread. Local art exhibitions, live entertainment, and wine tasting from the many superb vineyards in the area are on offer.
