Deer Park
Deer Park is a public park at the base of Table Mountain with sweeping views of the city. There are tracks for walking and bike trails. Dogs are allowed on leashes.
Deerpark MTB trail
There is a 132 m popular green singletrack trail in the park. It is a multi-use trail that can be used in both directions and has an easy overall physical rating with a 16 m green climb. It is a varied and challenging track with changing terrain which makes it an exciting trail, ideal for riders with any fitness and ability level.
At the parking lot, take a circular route towards Devil’s Peak towards the Kings Block House, and down towards Tafelberg Road taking you past the cable station and onto a dirt track. From this point, a steep single track takes you back to the dirt road, then along a jeep track, and back to the parking lot. The trail covers about 19 kilometres and it takes about an hour and a half.
