Silverstroomstrand
Beach 13 kilometres north of melkbosstrand
Silwerstroomstrand, which means ‘Silver Stream Beach” is a Blue Flag beach, and swimming in the sea is safe. There is a tidal pool where the water is slightly warmer and calm. Surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and boating are popular at this beach.
Lifeguards are on duty during the season. There is a boat launching slipway. Fishing here is good. The beach is 3 kilometres long which is ideal for long walks. The views are breathtaking and there is a resort nearby with caravan park bungalows and shaded picnic/braai sites with benches. Toilet facilities are also available.
