Somerset west golf club was founded in 1908.The enjoyable Parklands style course runs over 5 942 meters offering well-maintained bent greens to putt on and smooth fairways over the entire course. The course has been split into three sections by a railway line and a road running through it. These divisions are an obstacle that actually adds to the challenge as all three sections are challenging in their own way. Particularly when either the North Westerly or South Easterly winds blow. Visitors are welcome.
