Sparks Bay
Picnic site in Gordon's Bay
Sparks Bay is just off Clarence Drive and is part of Kogel Bay Beach It is a great picnic site beyond the gravelly entrance, there are picnic tables and a grassed patch. Do watch out for baboons and do not feed them. There is no shade so bring a hat or umbrella. The beach has a tidal pool and there are ablutions. You can do some fishing off the rocks or just sit and watch for whales during August and September. The site closes at 6 pm.
