Steenberg Golf Course in the beautiful Constantia Valley is one of the top golf courses in South Africa and a must-play on any golf itinerary in the Cape. It is surrounded by vineyards Officially opened in 1996, the Steenberg Golf Club is situated on the oldest wine farm in the Cape Peninsula, dating back to the days of Simon van der Stel with a length of 6166 meters and a slope of 135. Rating 73.3, The course is near the historical hotel and two fine dining restaurants. The club has first-class facilities including a halfway house, locker rooms, bar/lounge, Pro shop, clubhouse, and practice range. Handicaps allowed: 36 for Ladies and 34 for Men. Handicap certificates will be asked for on the day of play. The Golf Course is a soft spike course. It is essential to book T-off times in advance
