Steenberg wine estate is the Cape’s first farm which was established in 1682. It has come a long way since its humble beginnings. It was originally known as the Zwaanswyk and was granted to Catherina Ustings in 1688. The Cape Dutch homestead was erected in about 1740.
Steenberg Farm The 5-Star Steenberg Hotel & Spa, the Tryn restaurant, and the Bistro Sixteen82. are located on the Steenberg Farm. The farm houses an exceptional winery, producing some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc in South Africa, along with several other celebrated varietals
