Sunrise beach is home to the False Bay Lifesaving Club. This club provides volunteer lifesaving services. In peak periods it offers a training ground for young lifeguards. It’s also a favourite spot for kitesurfers. Dogs are allowed to run freely east of the lifesaving building.
Dogs are allowed before 9.00 am and after 6.00 pm between November and April
