The Swellendam Golf Course is a very pleasant 9 hole 72-par course with greens in excellent condition. There are views overlooking the surrounding farms and Hermitage Village. Swellendam Golf Course is arguably one of the most picturesque golf courses in the country. It may be short but has some good doglegs! The fairways are in very good condition. There are various events throughout the year such as Ladies Day in September, The Swellendam Open is also in September; and the Yearly Classic in October
