Veldskoen Padstaal
Farmstall in De Doorns
The Veldskoen Farmstall started as an outlet close to the N1 where travelers could buy fresh grapes in season, which the Hexriver Valley is renowned for. In the early 1970s, the farmstall was built as it became an increasingly popular spot for not only grapes but other preserved and locally made items. The restaurant serves light meals and delicious cheesecake. There is also an antique and second-hand store, Rust and Roses on the premises. The outdoor area at Veldskoen Padstal has space for children to roam or play on the trampoline, or swings.
