Wilderness Beach, close to the city of George is wide, wild, unspoiled and pet-friendly. The golden sands continue on for more than a kilometre.
The beach is backed onto vegetation-covered dunes dotted with homes looking out across the ocean. Visitors to this unspoiled length of shoreline are likely to find warm waters most days.
Wilderness Beach has blue flag status, it is not very developed and does not have a lot of facilities but, the tranquillity of Wilderness Beach is wonderful for whale and dolphin watching.
